Canoe Tours
Let’s paddle together!
Come paddle with us!
In Norway, you’re never far away from water. Canoeing is a relaxed & fun way to experience Norwegian nature and the many lakes of the Lillehammer region from a new perspective.
Together, we’ll paddle along the shores and between little islands on lake Mesna to a shelter tucked away in the forest. Here we’ll land and sit down for a cosy break with snacks and drinks.
Lake Mesna and the Mesna river shaped the region’s history and are the reason that Lillehammer grew into the city it is today. During our tour, you’ll learn more about the region’s past & Norwegian culture and if you’re feeling brave you can go for a swim in the lake.

What you’ll experience
Experienced Guides
Our English-speaking guides are experienced outdoors and know the area like the back of their hand.
They'll lead you to their favourite hidden spots, share stories about the history, wildlife, and plant life of the region – and show you firsthand how Norwegians enjoy the outdoors.
Relaxed atmosphere
We always take our time & never rush. Our guides set a relaxed pace with plenty of time to take in big views and small details.
A break with snacks and drinks is always part of the plan – because it’s often the best part of the day.
Your safety is our priority
Our guides are trained and certified in water rescue & first aid.
We will provide a brief introduction to canoeing in the beginning and support you during the tour.
Please note: Wearing a life jacket is mandatory during the canoe tours.

We provide the canoes, paddles & safety equipment.
Just show up dressed for the weather, bring a set of spare clothes & a water bottle and we’re good to go!
