Wilderness Lunch
Because outside tastes better!
Join our Wilderness Lunch – a simple, delicious taste of Norwegian friluftsliv, one bite at a time.
Let Nature Set the Table
They say everything tastes better outside – and we couldn't agree more. Join us on our Wilderness Lunch experience, where a short and easy walk leads you to a beautiful spot in nature, far enough to feel away from it all, close enough for everyone to enjoy.
Once we arrive, we roll up our sleeves together. Using an outdoor stove, we prepare snacks, a proper main dish, and something sweet to finish – because what is a good meal without dessert?
But our Wilderness Lunch is about more than the food. It's about slowing down, breathing in the fresh air, and rediscovering the simple pleasure of a home-cooked meal shared in good company. No rush, no noise. Just nature, laughter, and something warm on your plate.
Come hungry. Leave happy.
What you’ll experience
A short walk to one of our favorite spots
To reach our lunch destination we’ll walk for about 20-40 minutes (depending on the location). Please wear proper shoes, ideally hiking boots, because Norwegian trails can be wet, muddy or rocky.
A taste of the outdoors
Good food doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming in the preparation. Together we will prepare and enjoy a small starter, a warm main dish & dessert.
Relaxed atmosphere
For us, being outdoors is not about distance or pace, but about slowing down, enjoying nature but also paying attention to small details.
Experienced Guides
Our English-speaking guides are experienced in the outdoors and know the area like the back of their hand.
They’ll show you their favorite spots, share outdoor cooking tips with you & how to enjoy nature the Norwegian way.
Important information!
Norwegian weather can be unpredictable & our trails wet and muddy. To stay comfortable and enjoy this activity to the fullest, we recommend dressing in layers that can be adjusted as needed, to wear hiking boots & to bring a waterproof jacket. Please consider that you won’t move much for most of the activity, so extra layers to put on at our lunch spot are recommended.
Activities may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions.
