Important information!

To stay comfortable, we recommend dressing in layers that can be adjusted as needed. A waterproof outer layer, along with gloves, a hat, and warm socks, is essential to stay warm in winter.

Hikes may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions.

  • We offer Snowshoe Hikes in Sjusjøen, Nordseter, Mosetertoppen and Hafjell. All starting points are accessible by public transport or car.

    If you’re staying in Lillehammer, we recommend our hikes in Sjusjøen or Nordseter. If you are staying in Hafjell or Øyer, we recommend our hike in Mosetertoppen or Hafjell.

  • The hike lasts for about 3 to 3.5 hours.

  • The groups are small, with a maximum of 10 participants per guide.

    To ensure the best experience, each hike requires a minimum of 2 participants.

  • Adults and children from 10 years old, perfect for families, couples, a group of friends, or solo travelers.

    Families with younger children can book a private tour.

We offer Snowshoe Hikes in various locations close to Lillehammer: Sjusjøen, Nordseter, Mosetertoppen & Hafjell.

If you’re staying in Lillehammer, we recommend our hikes in Sjusjøen or Nordseter. If you are staying in Hafjell or Øyer, we recommend our hikes around Hafjell or Mosetertoppen.

All starting points are easily accessible by public transport or by car.

Sjusjøen

The meeting point is at the Langrennsarena in Sjusjøen. Start & length of the hike are adjusted to the bus schedule.

 

By Bus

From Lillehammer skysstasjon (train station) the bus ride takes about 35 minutes.

Bus: 501 Sjusjøen

Bus stops: Lillehammer skysstasjon → Sjusjøen langrennsarena

Nordseter

From Lillehammer skysstasjon (train station) the bus ride takes about 25 minutes.

Bus: 500 Nordseter

Bus stops: Lillehammer skysstasjon → Nordseter (final stop)

From the bus stop Øyer sentrum the bus ride takes about 25 minutes.

The meeting point & start of the hike is at the Hundersætervegen P-plass close to Ilsetra & Pellestova. Start & length of the hike are adjusted to the bus schedule.
